Athena Freedom Launch and Managed Service News
dBD Communications has flourished since its first expansion in 2014 through innovation and continuous improvement, a small to medium enterprise pushing the limits of our systems integration skills, working with international experts, and working to produce products you won’t find anywhere else. It is these accomplishments that has allowed dBD to see the growth of three sites and approximately 40 members of staff including our trained associates that are dedicated to seeing the development of our Managed Service programme.
dBD Communications pride themselves on their ability to improve on already successful audio systems and it is with this hard work and innovation that dBD can now launch the Athena Freedom.
Ideal for rail construction as it offers a compact light weight design that fits to the back of hard hats and is protected in a pouch, offering freedom of movement. This headset gives the user maximum spatial awareness when working on a busy site.
The Freedom Headset will offer 100m in range allowing your job to be done without worry of losing connection, and 24-hour battery life so you won’t need to charge your headset throughout your shift. Freedom offers clear and crisp communications that utilises our already successful Athena System and can also be integrated with our successful Apollo multi-user system. The Freedom system can be purchased individually allowing cleanliness as no need to swap headsets.
“The benefits the freedom system offers are a much lighter solution, all round situational awareness and allows personal issue headsets encouraging cleanliness and personal responsibility”
- David O’Connell – Managing Director.
Freedoms can be provided with our Managed Service Programme, where dBD’s trained members of staff provide engineering and technical support service and maintain the systems for full functionality and work efficiency on railway solutions.
Our Managed Service scheme has grown with the company and its success has gained many sites across London, Kent, the Midlands and the north of England supported with our audio systems. dBD Communications provide support to Network Rail with our Managed Service providing all site Radio Communications including tunnel coverage.
Deploying dBD members of staff to every site provides servicing and maintenance for all our audio equipment, allowing cleaning and charging all headsets and systems, fixing any damaged headsets with minor repairs. This means less down time reducing costs and providing experts on site with knowledge and support for all audio and radio comms.
dBD Communications would like to thank everyone for their continued support and can be assured of our professional customer service and high flexibility to continue whilst we invest in the development of our products.
