dBD Communications getting green fingers with Ground Control

dBD Communications are delighted to announce that we are providing our prestigious communications systems to Ground Control, a national external maintenance and commercial landscaping company based in Billericay who are currently working on Network Rail Sites.

Established in 2002, dBD has continued to grow into a leading communications company and has already established a significant market share within the Rail Industry and is one of two approved suppliers to Network Rail.

We are proud to have been chosen by Ground Control to provide them with our communication systems that include; five, three user Apollos, two Blocked Headsets and a Cab Kit system. These systems are all going to be used whilst Ground Control are carrying out works on Network Rail sites.

Our Apollo Systems come in light weight rucksacks. They can be worn whilst working with ease and movement up and down the site. Being a mobile unit, communication will never be lost between the workers connected to the system.

Our Cab Kit Systems have been installed onto 360 Bucket Cranes that are removing vegetation from the side of the railway lines for the HS2 project. Our system allows the machine operator to communicate with the controller on the ground without the need of a headset. This allows the machine operator to have full spatial awareness whilst working.

We look forward to our specialised and trusted equipment being a successful addition to Ground Control and supporting the development of the HS2 Project.
