Product Description
The Athena Lighter System is a high-performance, 2-user wireless communication solution specifically engineered for personnel working Outside Machine in demanding rail environments. This Behind-The-Head style unit is designed for maximum comfort and compatibility with hard hats, making it ideal for On Track, RRVs, and General Engineering Teams.
As part of the Athena Lighter Wireless Duplex System, the headset provides a robust wireless link across a 100m range to ensure continuous, drop-out-free communication. Crucially, it features Dynamic Noise Reduction and a high S/N ratio (>70dB) microphone, ensuring safety-critical instructions are delivered clearly, compliant with ITU G.712 standards. With exceptional endurance, it offers up to 24 hours of active use on a rapid 3–4 hour charge, and operates reliably across an extreme temperature range of −40∘C to +70∘C.
